Who is the Gentle Yoga & Relaxation class for?
The class is for adults of all ages who would like a slow, mindful yoga class, to gently work all areas of the body, and leave feeling calm and relaxed.
People new to yoga will find the postures easy to follow, and for people with more experience you can explore the more subtle aspects of posture practice through the slow-paced mindful approach.
Su offers different ways of working with the yoga postures so you can find an option that works for you.
The class includes seated, standing and mat-based postures, then a guided relaxation and breathing practice. Chairs are available as supports when working with standing balancing postures, and for anyone who would prefer a chair for seated postures.
Why join Gentle Yoga & Relaxation at the Village Hall?
Su completed her yoga teaching diploma (500 hours) with the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) and has been teaching since 2019 – in Lancing, Sompting, Hove, and on Zoom, before relocating to this area.
She is passionate about making yoga accessible, and the benefit of rest and relaxation for all. She has completed additional yoga teacher training in chair yoga, restorative yoga, and yoga nidra, and incorporates the learning from these into her Gentle Yoga classes.
