Who are Pilates classes suitable for?
Beginners, Improvers, Intermediates, Seniors – dedicated sessions to suite all levels and all ages.
Why join Pilates at the Village Hall?
Sharon is a Body Control certified Pilates teachers, with Level 3 fitness qualifications and members of BCPA. Classes will start off fairly gently to get an idea of where everyone’s level is and the first class will be a ‘getting to know one another’ session, so you have a chance to see how Sharon works.
Then she’ll ask you all to fill in a quick questionnaire, a PARQ, so that they have a brief knowledge of your exercise history and any problems, such as injuries, operations. The sessions will be small with no more than nine people. The course is designed to be hands “on” tactile instruction and support.
How do I book?
Come along for a free taster session, then join for bite-sized courses for 5 / 6 weeks @ £10 a session by cash or bank transfer. Sorry, but we don’t run ad-hoc drop-in sessions as we like to get to know you and your body to ensure movements are appropriate

Pilates Matwork sessions
Small and friendly mixed classes sizes with a maximum of 9 people, with movements are tailored to you and your body.
Benefits include: relaxing muscles, extending body tissues for flexibility and increasing strength exercises for a whole-body movement workout.
In a small group, I plan exercises taking into account each person’s unique body journey. This enables me to learn about your body’s strengths
and weaknesses.
